Dear Sir or Madam,

The DEC Association, DLT Education Consortium - DEC e.V. (hereinafter referred to as "DEC"), located at the campus of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences of Arts - Information Technology, in Kanton Zug, Switzerland, aims at promoting an education and examination standard in the space of Distributed Ledger Technologies, Digital Assets and Web3. This includes in particular, the development of examination syllabus across different professional domains and to shape the certification landscape of professionals working in this space.

If you wish to join DEC as a member or research fellow, please fill out this registration form.

The executive board will inform you about the acceptance of your application within twenty (20) business days.

Membership types
Active members:
The group of active members is made up of legal persons who actively contribute to the realization of the association's goals. The board of the association decides on admission as an active member on the basis of a written application by resolution with a simple majority. Active members can be elected to the board of the association. They are entitled to vote in the general assembly.

Supporting members:
Any natural or legal person who wants to promote the development of the association's goals can become a supporting member. The board of the association decides on admission as a supporting member on the basis of a written application by resolution with a simple majority. Supporting members cannot be elected to the board of the association. They have the right to be present at the general assembly, but are not entitled to vote.

Research fellows:
Any natural person looking for an opportunity to gain research experience and subject matter expertise in the area of their choice. Research fellows are contributing to the global standard of professionalism and knowledge requirements for charterholders. The board of the association decides on admission as a research fellow on the basis of a written application by resolution with a simple majority.
