What is your name & email address? *
What is your institution/department and who is your advisor? *
What stage of your PhD are you in? When are you hoping to graduate? *
Please tell us about your dissertation research in 300-500 words. Make sure to specify your disciplinary approach (if relevant) and the kinds of methods you use. *
We take an expansive view of what it means for research to connect to Jewish education. Please tell us how your work is related to Jewish education (up to 300 words)?   *
A key feature of this program is receiving support from an experienced scholar of education, sociology, and Jewish Studies, and from other doctoral students. Please tell us what kind of support you most need at this stage in your work. For example, you might discuss what you feel you are missing in your training, skills you want to develop, connections you seek with other faculty, or accountability (up to 300 words).  *
A key component of being in the program is meeting virtually every two weeks to workshop Fellows' writing and ideas. In selecting Fellows, we try to bring together a group of Fellows whose skills complement each other, and who can offer each other valuable feedback on their work and how to situate it for different kinds of audiences within and beyond Jewish education. Please tell us what subjects or disciplines you have expertise in. Also, please tell us what research methods you are trained in and using for your research (up to 300 words) *
Fellows will need to commit to meeting virtually every two weeks from August 2025 to July 2026 for one hour. We understand that people live on different time zones, and have familial and professional responsibilities that can affect their availability. Please tell us about what hours you can generally meet and what time zone you work in.  *
