Lambda Remote Instrumentation Private Beta
The Datadog Team is testing out a Private Beta to help bulk-instrument the AWS Lambdas in your AWS account directly from the Datadog UI in just a few clicks.

The goal of bulk Lambda auto-instrumentation will allow you to -
  • Onboard and add the Datadog Lambda Extension across the functions in your AWS Account without having to instrument each AWS Lambda one-by-one
  • Ensure the Lambda Extension installed on your functions is up to date with the newest features
  • Reduce the operational overhead Devops and SRE teams need to spend on getting the right instrumentation

We would like to collect your feedback on your experience, current challenges while instrumenting AWS Lambda with Datadog's Extension, and anything else
