What are beta readers?
A beta reader is a test reader of an unreleased work of writing who gives feedback to the author from the point of view of an average reader.
What feedback I'm looking for:
- What stood out? - What did you like about the reading? Style, flow, uniqueness?
- What are you curious about? - What do you want to learn more of? Perspectives, trains of thought, what happens next, character development?
- Where blind spots, insights, or new perspectives would you like me to consider?
